"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Friday, March 30, 1917 WIFE AND FURNITURE GONE. When Albert L. PEASE returned to his home, 809 East Eighth Street, last night, no dinner was waiting. Neither were his wife, two children or the household effects. "A man was here," said the neighbors, "and they drove away with all your furniture." PEASE asked the police to help him locate his wife and former boarder in his house. "This is the fourth time she has eloped in three years," PEASE said, "but this is the first time she has taken the children and the furniture. I'll let her go if I can get my two little girls back." (I have no connection with this family but let me know if you found this posting helpful.)
