ANDERSON, DANIELS, MIZE "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Saturday, April 14, 1888 INDEPENDENCE. Matters and Events of Interest in the Historic City. Mrs. Catharine DANIELS, mother of Miss Kate MIZE and mother-in-law of William M. ANDERSON of this city, died Thursday night at about 10 o'clock. Mrs. DANIELS was 90 years of age, being one of the oldest inhabitants of Jackson County. She was born in 1798 in Montgomery county, Kentucky, and was married in 1820 to Robert DANIELS, who died at his home north of Independence about two years ago. She came to Jackson county with her husband in 1836. Although Mrs. DANIELS has had bodily afflictions for a number of years, she retained, as old as she was, a remarkably clear mind up to the day of her death. The funeral services will be held at the residence of Mrs. MIZE, on South Liberty street, this morning at 10 o'clock. and will be conducted by Rev. W. B. PALMORE, pastor of the M.
