    1. Re: [KansasCity] Survey of your interest
    2. Thanks, John - your tireless efforts have helped a lot of people, certainly me. I agree with others - this is certainly the most active and interesting "list" to which I subscribe! That said, I would vote for your offerings in just the way you offered them - 1,2,3,4,5, with my interest in #2 to be 1880 and later. Do you know why some obits do not show in the KC Times, when they have appeared in the STAR? You ran your April 1922 list from the times, but it did not include Virginia (Jennie) Bowdon O'BRIEN who died 19 Apr. 1922 (death cert. conf.) - I do have an obit from The Star. Could this be a matter of timing of death? or personal opinion of survivors re the paper? or, I am open to any other suggestions! The Kansas City Star and the Kansas City Times were basically the same newspaper--The Times being the morning edition and the Star the evening edition. Perhaps the obit didn't make the deadline for the Times, but was there in time for the Star. Sometimes the obit appeared in both or possibly the next day's Times. Hope this answers your question. John, please add or correct any of this information. Anita in Mo > Do you know why some obits do not show in the KC > Times, when they have appeared > in the STAR?
