    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Saturday, August 5, 1911 DEATHS IN KANSAS CITY. Word of the death of Frederick HOWARD, who called Kansas City his home, was received yesterday from Chicago by T. A. JONES, attorney in the Scarritt Building. HOWARD died at 1 o'clock yesterday morning in the apartments of his cousin, F. C. AUSTIN, in the Plaza Hotel, from an attack of cerebral hemorrhage. He was 58 years old. Mr. HOWARD first came to Kansas City in 1880, but had been here very little in the last six years. He was one of the three members of the first board of public works, and helped in the work which led to the building of the city hall. When he first came to Kansas City he engaged in the real estate business, and later practiced law with the firm of Scammon, Hatch, & Howard. During his residence in Kansas City he lived with his mother at Twenty-third Street and Troost Avenue. His mother died six years ago. During the years he spent in Kansas City he was closely associated with J. P. THOMPSON, Henry GARLAND, Judge McDOUGAL and ex-Senator WARNER. In "The Reminiscences of Judge McDougal," the author devoted a number of pages to Frederick HOWARD. ============================================ (I have no connection with this person but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) ============================================ 1 ----- Original Message ----- From: <Linkgen@aol.com> To: <KSWYANDO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, February 26, 2003 8:21 PM Subject: [KSWYANDO] Re: KSWYANDO-D Digest V03 #39 > Hello, > I would like to see the obit for Fredrick Howard . > Thank You
