    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Wednesday, April 3, 1912 A FARM HOME FOR THE SICK. Tubercular patients in Wyandotte County may yet have a place to go to where they can get pure air and plenty of fresh eggs and milk. The commissioners of Kansas City, Kas., yesterday promised T. J. LYONS, county commissioner, the use of the farm and buildings formerly used for smallpox patients. Mr. LYONS said the county commissioners would make necessary changes in the buildings and furnish the food. There are six cottages on the 26-acre farm. The farm was used to isolate smallpox patients until three years ago. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
