"The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Tuesday, May 19, 1914 LOCKED IN A SALOON ICE BOX. After locking Dominick FOTO, proprietor of a saloon at 300 Grand Avenue, and Max WEGSTEIN, his bartender, in an ice box, at 12:30 o'clock this morning, two white men robbed the cash register in the saloon of $10. FOTO and WEGSTEIN were becoming numb from cold, when their cries for help attracted the attention of a negro who had entered the saloon. Both were released. ====================================================== (I have no connection with this family but I'd appreciate knowing if you found this posting helpful.) johnobrien@kc.rr.com ======================================================
