    2. Turns out the census takers repeatedly wrote as Snedegar and also transcribed as Snedizer- so must not be related. It was pronounced as Snediker among the neighbors, but "Momma" came from Sweden and maybe that how the neighbors heard it. Sorry Charlie ! In a message dated 1/5/2009 1:39:21 P.M. His widow, Ella, lived at 2503 Park Ave during the 1930s. Does that ring a bell? I have no information on any children they may have had. Thanks for the lead. I would appreciate any further info you may have. She was either a widow or maiden lady school teacher who lived with her widowed mother on the East side of Kansas City. Only widows or maiden ladies were hired by the KCMO school board..but we did have some private schools. The parochial schools had Nuns back then. Would you like for me to check??
