Turns out the census takers repeatedly wrote as Snedegar and also transcribed as Snedizer- so must not be related. She was either a widow or maiden lady school teacher who lived with her widowed mother on the East side of Kansas City. Only widows or maiden ladies were hired by the KCMO school board..but we did have some private schools. The parochial schools had Nuns back then. Would you like for me to check??
