John: Can you tell me where you are getting all of the obits you post. As I mentioned in a previous e-mail, I have had family tied to Wyandotte County since the 1860's. But I don't have many date of death for them. Therefore, looking for an obit is a needle in a haystack. Jeff, I got my "collection" from the Kansas City Public Library and from the Mid-Continent Library in Independence. Over the years I've made many copies and I started a projected to get all KC obits from 1910 to 1923. Who are some of the people you are looking for and about when did they die? Maybe we can help. Have you been up to the Mid-Continent Library in Independence (genealogy branch). Some of the Wyandotte County cemeteries have been indexed and the Library has the books. Your people may be listed. Most of the ones I am missing are from my Herbold line. Do you have any with that surname? Also the names Estes and Carothers. Thanks so much for all you do.
