Hello! The Loops were a very large family that have roots in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio. Cynthia Cecil Loop's father, Alexander Baird Loop was born in Delaware, Ohio. He was one of six children. He had 12 half brothers and sisters from his father's second marriage. The cousins appear to have been close, as they moved together with their families from state to state. There is also a family of Loops from New York, which I have not been able to connect to those in my list. I think that Addie is from the New York branch of Loops, but I am not sure. There were som Loops from New York that did live in Kansas City. They were merchants. I will keep my eyes open on this one for you..
