For those interested in the BARTLETT family, I am the great-granddaughter of John Brady BARTLETT. He was born in West Virginia probably about 1850. I don't know a lot about him, but I was told he participated in the Oklahoma Stampede. He married Edith Lucyanna SCHENCK and they settled around Oskaloosa, Kansas. He died in Topeka and had very few possessions at that time. He was active in the Jehovah Witness faith. The SCHENCK family is well documented and has an annual family reunion in Topeka in September.
