    1. About roll calls -- FARNSWORTH
    2. Frank, I have a Margaret Roberts Farnsworth b. PA abt. 1805 and probably died in the KC area after 1880. Her daughter Martha married Harvey L. Shaw; they were in Wyandotte Co., KS in 1880. Might she be related to your Farnsworths? Had three sons with first husband, was widowed, married Farnsworth and was widowed shortly afterward again. Apparently didn't marry a third time. Vanette

    3. Vanette, Thanks for the response, but my Farnsworths do not appear to be very closely related to yours. Isaac Farnsworth, my gg-grandfather, and his wife Louisa set out in 1854 from their home in Lewis Co., Virginia (now WVA) with their children Granville, Louisa, Julia Anne, James K., and Emaline on their way to Kansas City, MO. Isaac died from cholera and was buried on the bank on the Missouri somewhere along the way, so Louisa and her 5 kids landed at Liberty Landing, so my Farnsworths are latecomers to K.C. compared to your Farnsworths.
