    3. "The Kansas City Times" (Missouri) Saturday, September 29, 1888 HIS HEAD CUT OFF. Will WILLIAMS, a colored man 19 years of age, was beheaded at Armour's packing house at 7 o'clock last night. WILLIAMS was engaged in oiling the shaftings in the fertilizing department when his clothing caught in the belting and he was carried around the shafting. His head struck a beam and was completely severed from the body, while the latter was horribly bruised and mangled. The body was removed to Raymond's undertaking establishment where Coroner DOWNS will hold an inquest to-day.
