He was born in Huntsville, Ill. During the Civil War he served in the Fifty-fifth Illinois Infantry, and later in the Eighth Illinois Cavalry. He is survived by a son, John B. I would appreciate very much obtaining a death notice or obit for my grandfather's first wife, Ella M. "Mamie" (RICH) CAMPBELL.
