    2. Eleanora, My name is Denise Graves and I have received your email asking for help. I have found a lot of my relatives at the web site below. I have bee searching for my ancestors for about 6 months and have gotten all the way to my sixth and seventh generations on my mothers side and my fathers side so I am pretty pleased. I will continue to send you helpful sites if you would like. I have found it is better to go to sites that support States instead of narrowing sites to cities or counties they usually work better. Start here go to all the categories at the top it has a search database that you put in the name and it gives you birth or death info. _http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/resources.asp_ (http://www.sos.mo.gov/archives/resources/resources.asp)

    2. Go to www.sos.mo.gov/archives/deathcertificates#search Search for the Deboever names - there are only 2. I would take down all the information for them. Above the search area click on Archives Reference Desk. That brings up a pdf form to fill out for each person you want a certificate for. Follow the instructions. It will cost $1 per certificate, but the wait may be long! Good Luck, Susan "She is insane, of course. The family history has become a mania for her." Hercule Poirot

    3. Hello, Do you know when Camille Debeover was born? I only ask because I found a WWI Registration card for someone with this name in Rock Island County, Illinois. This registration card lists the birthdate as January 19, 1881 and lists his nearest relative as Thiephiel DeBoever (his brother). I have also found Camille in the 1930 census living in KC with his wife, Leonie and daughter Margeruite. There are several Debeover's listed in several states in all of the census from Belgium. I will be glad to help you with this as I can, so if there is anything else that you remember, it would be helpful. Also, I do not live in Kansas City, I am researching on the internet. 2. Judy Bates
    3. Looking at www.familysearch.org (the LDS database), I see that Morris Deboever, who was born 6 Dec 1896, died in May of 1985 - according to the Social Security Death Index. His Social Security card was issued in Kansas. Unfortunately, it does not give the day of his death so looking for his obituary will be difficult. You really need the exact date to request an obituary from the libraries in Kansas City. There is a fairly new death index for MO. so if Camiel or his wife died in MO., they may be in that index. Someone could give you the website to go to, to search that index, I am guessing. I can't look it up right now........... Judy B.

    3. I believe several person are looking but since the name has variations it takes a while. Do you know the ship or landing date and where. Also there are two separate sets of records, Kansas city Mo. which is in Jackson co. keeps its own and Jackson Co keeps other suburbs. It Is crazy but government does odd things.1941 0r 1955 should be the Kansas City Star / Times newspaper and that is reels of microfilm.
