It says on his death certificate that his place of burial or removal is "Anatomical Society" The rumor is that he was buried in a Pauper's Grave in Kansas City so the pieces are beginning to fall together. 3. It was interesting to read this post. My grandmother lived with her sister Carrie Pendergast and Tom P. My grandmother later married and moved to Calif. to escape the Pendergast legacy. My grandmother always spoke highly of Tom P and Marceline, Aileen and Tom Jr., even though many others had a different perspective. I have a copy of the obituary but it didn't give much information other than date of death and her surviving husband. Nothing about children. I am wanting a photo of the tombtone for my family record book. juanita > Why don't you write to the cemetery, they have records that go back a > ways. The Illinois State Historical Library in Springfield, Ill. has them on micro-film, and no charge last I heard; I think the obits. would be in a few days, after the death. You would have to do it through your public library on an inter-library loan, and read them at the library on their machines. If you are interested, I do have the address. The deceased is Emmett Mitchell Eslinger, born apr 23, 1903. died april 26, 1954. Emmett's father was Elmer Ephriam Eslinger, born Oct. 12, 1877, died Jan. 23, 1956. thank you ever so much! cindy hall cindyhal@illinois.edu
