Their children were: Alice born 9 June 1720 East Greenwich, RI; Mercy born 2 Feb 1721/22, East Greenwich, RI married Francis Hopkins 21 Sept 1743; Thomas born 2 Feb 722/23 died after 21 July 1770; Henry born 233 Feb 725/26; Deliverance born 25 March 1728, East Greenwich, RI; Martha born 14 Feb 1728, East Greenwich, RI married Nathaniel Niels 26 Nov 1752; Elizabeth born 14 Feb 1729/30 East Greenwich, RI; married Elisha 17 May 1753; Rebecca born 4 April 1732 East Greenwich, married Richard Rice 5 Jan 1778 RI; John born 9 Sep 1734; Margaret born 4 July 1737, East Greenwich; Mary born 6 May 1738 East Greenwich. Thomas father of Henry was born 1658 Scarborough, Maine, died about 1722 in East Greenwich, RI. Thomas married Mar Vaughn, 21 Dec 1681 in Newort, RI. Thomas' & Elizabeth's children were Thomas, Samuel born 1686, Isaac born 1694, Henry Vaughn born 1696, died Oct 1743, Keziah born 1698 married Samuel Lindsey 14 Oct 1718 in Bristol, RI; William died 1771. The parents of Samuel lamb were Abiel Lamb and Elizabeth Clark. Abiel was born: 15 august, 1646 . in Roxbury, Mass. Elizabeth was born: 16 january 1647/48 in Roxbury, Mass. Samuel is the only child i have im sure there were others. Abiel died in 1694 and Elizabeth died in 11 december, 1692 . Her father was Hugh Clark. they both were livivng in Farmingham, Meddlesex, Mass. when they died. Abiel was in the Great Swamp Fight , King Phillips War , 1675. Thats about all i have do you have more to share ? and what of the Morse family do you have anything there. Thanks for your reply keep intouch

The Jossleyn that emmigrated to the US and became know as Joslin was Thomas Josselyn, who was born in Essex in 1591 and died in Lancaster, MA in 1660. Can you find a connection. Adelbert L. Joslin, b. 23 Aug 1865 m. Bessie LOOKER. The only child I have listed is Ethel I. Joslin. Adelbert's parents were Joseph R. Joslin (b. 1 Jan 1825, d. 10 Jul 1908) and Mary Ann Barnes (1831-1909). They were married in 1847 and had 2 children that I know of, Ellen and Adelbert. From there, we go way back into the Jolsin history. Feel free to email me if you want to know sources, or to go further back.

Land owned by P. R. JOSLYN located in Herkimer Cty. NY was listed in 1869/1870 Directory for that township as being occupied by ALONZO JOSLYN "farmer and overseer of the late P. R. JOSLYN estate". P. R. JOSLYN is first documented in 1836 in Kane County, IL, with son RILEY following in 1837. P. R. JOSLYN died in Kane Co., IL circa 1846/47. Riley migrated to McDonald Co. MO, to Texas after the death of his wife, EUNICE EVANS JOSLIN, remaining there during the Civil War and returning to MO to home of son, WILLIAM HENRY JOSLIN and wife SARAH JANE GODWIN JOSLIN, where he stayed until his death approximately 1869. JOHNATHAN C. JOSLIN (William Henry's older brother) left MO for CA, as did ELIAS A. JOSLIN. Both Johnathan and Elias died in CA.
