    3. HI Joyce: Can you tell me the parents of Judieth/Judith . There was a couple different groups that ended up in NY, and if you could give me a little more info I will do what I can to help. I looked through some of my files and found nothing to link the names you have listed. 1. [JOSLIN] Help, please.
    2. Am trying to find additional family for the following JOSLINs (also intermittently spelled Joscelin): Judieth/Judith, b. 10 Oct 1773, m. John Carnrike (b. 1772, Ulster Co., NY) Timothy, b. abt. 1785, m. Charity LNU John, b. abt. 1780, had son John, Jr. and (possibly) Mary, who married a member of the Hicks family and (possibly) Josiah and (possibly) Peter. I don't know where they originated, but they landed in Chemung County, NY (near Elmira) by 1820. Highly likely Timothy served in the War of 1812 as he settled in Erin, NY. Most of the others who settled there were 1812 vets. ANY help or even suggestions will be gratefully accepted. Am rather stuck. Thanks, Joyce Raleigh, NC

I should put it I am a descendant of Charles & Rebecca Keen Josselyn; Josiah Sr., so on and so on. Sure is interesting and adctive past time isn't it? 3. Joyce, It looks like it goes in a fairly straight line back to Count Joceline. BTW did I mention I did buy two books about Ralph Josselyn the the 17th century clergyman. Both by Alan MacFarlane. One is a writeup about his family life. The other is his diary from 1616 to 1683. Both are interesting but tough reading. 1. [JOSLIN] Thurston Joslin and family 1769 to 1800
    2. Hi, I am still trying to find Thurston Joslin. My Joslin researchers have searched for years for Thurston Joslin born about 1769. We are descendants of Thurston and his son John. John was left an orphan age 6 and was raised by unknown relatives. Thurston, his wife Annie and two daughters Sarah and Bathsheba, were never found in any record books. There must be records somewhere. We think family probably died near Dutchess Co Ny. about 1800. One possiblity is he migrated to Ontario Canada area following his sister Margaret Joslin Delong. Any answers would be greatly received. Thank you. G.LePera

    3. I have some updated information about the availablity of the reprint of the Joslin etc book originally published by Edith Wessler. It is available as a print on demand book from Higginson Book Co, 14 Derby Square, PO Box 778 Salem, Mass 01979 978-745-7170, in both soft or hard cover. The soft cover is about $52 with shipping. The hardcover is about $65. It takes about 6 weeks. However, from what I understand Carol, the daughter of Edith Wessler is hard at work on an update that will be definitly worth waiting for!! Thanks for all the info! Peg
