The William Henry Jordan in my family line is my brick wall! I have that he was born 5 May 1844 or 1848 in Pike County, Alabama. He is buried in the Hightower cem. in Erath County Texas. He died 26 April 1931 in Texas. He was married to Louisa Hightower on 10 March 1870 in Texas. He had application for brand in Erath County on 24 Jan. 1877. I have found different first names for his father. I have the names Elijah, J. M. and Joseph Jordan. I have found the names Eveline and Mary as first names for his mother and the last name of Coleman for her. I have not been able to find any more information on his parents. I have been told he was born in Fl. not Alabama. Sure would like to know for sure where he was born and the names of his parents. Thank you; Shirley
