Researching George Washington Thomas Jordan. SC>GA. Mother was Charity and had a brother Orrin M H who migrated to GA with him and his mother. Tom, as he was referred to, married Eliza Priest of GA. Most of there time in Ga. was probably in Cobb Co. and maybe some in Cherokee Co. Have also seen him referred to as Washington in early census records, when he was a child. Believe his father was William who remained in SC when the rest of the family moved to GA. Also William's mother was Elizabeth in SC. Anyone with any info on this family please contact me.
