I need the parents of James White Jordan born 27 Aug 1811 in North Carolina. . Died 27 Aug in Alexandria Va. He married Mary A Saunders 27 Dec 1832 Their children were : John Richard Jordan born 1834 Died 1893 Mary Jane Jordan born Aug 1840 Died Dec 1840 James Pendleton Jordan born 1843 Died 1922 William Ware Jordan born 1848 Haymarket Va. Died 14 Oct 1926 Bradenton Florida. Married Alice Cross 03 Oct 1872 in Alexandria Va Charles Edward Jordan born 1851 in Haymarket Va. Died 1936 Haymarket Va. Of particular interest to is William Ware Jordan. The name Ware has been carried down from him for three generations. There are loads of internet references to the marriage of Judith Scott Ware (daughter of Peter Ware) to Matthew Jordan but I have been unable to make the connection.
