Here is Part 2 of my Jordan Family line. I left off with Joshaway ( Joshua) Jordan who mar Edith Flowers and they had ten children. Several of them were ministers in the Quaker Religion and I found lots of material in the Early Quaker Records on Ancestry.com Also, we researched Edgecombe Co., NC and also in SC. EDGECOMBE CO. Henry Jordan b unknown 6. Levi Jordan, b unknown 7. Asa Jordan, b unknown Joshua Jordan b abt 1775 in Ganville NC moved from NC with a brother name Henry to Darlington Dist. SC. They appeared in the 1790 census records of Darlington Co., NC Apparently, Henry died early as he did not move with Joshua and his family to Alabama in the mid 1930's We found the records of Joshua Jordan in the Census records of Pike County in 1840 and in 1850. In the Pike County, Alabama Census records Joshua Jordan's age is listed as age 73-- We did not find Henry Jordan in the census records of Pike County, Alabama. He must have died in SC. Joshua Jordan and his family were living in the Northern part of Pike County (about 10-12 miles west of Troy, AL now) in an area called "Indian Creek" They were in a settlement living very close together.
