Estelle, What information and sources do you have that link your John Jordan born 1781 in PA as son of Joshua Jordan born 1755 and Deborah UNKNOWN born about 1759 in PA? I am sure I have an INCOMPLETE list of children of Joshua and Deborah, but so far I know of only Sarah JORDAN b: 3 JAN 1800 married William HARDIN 1854 in Brown Co., Ohio Fanny JORDAN b: ABT 1805 married Robert Johnson 1822 in Brown Co., Ohio Nathaniel JORDAN b: 19 NOV 1810 married Barbara Curtis 1807 in Genesee, New York The will of Joshua Jordan (born 1755) lists John Jordan, as one of his 5 eldest children with Deborah. John Jordan married Delilah Unknown born about 1783. Nathaniel JORDAN married Barbara Curtis. One child known thus far . . . Almira JORDAN Born: MAR 1, 1828 in Pleasant Twns, Brown Co.,Ohio Almira maried James Benson. One known child of Almira dn James Benson . . . Ann Eliza BENSON married: Ernest PETERSON I do not know much of John Jordan and his decendants as yet. As far as my John Jordan parents, I know they are Joshua Jordan and Deborah Unknown. I have not been able to verify Joshua's parnets, and I do not know who Deborah is. Deborah died BEF 1812 in Union Township, Brown County, Ohio. Joshua then married Dorcus Masterson, widow of John LOUDON. Joshua Jordan and Dorcus Masterson Loudon married AUG 15, 1812 in Adams County, Ohio. After Joshua Jordan died, she married again (her 3rd) and also had a 4th marriage. I wanted to make a correction to my last message. In the first part of my message I mention ed that I had an incomplete lsit of the children of Joshua and Deborah Jordan, and went to list Sarah, Fanny and Nathaniel. Sarah, Fanny and Nathaniel Jordan are the children of John Jordan born 1781; John Jordan being a son of Joshua and Deborah Jordan. Sorry for the mix up. :-) I probably do not have a complete list of the children of John and Delilah Jordan. That is what I meant.
