My family history includes the JORDAN name "Elijah" at least 3 times that I know of and way back there I feel that my line might be related to all these "ELIJAH'S that I read about on here, My Great Grand Father was Elijah Jordan b. Feb 27, 1816 in Ga. and d. June 29, 1912. My grandfather Thomas Decalb Jordan b. Nov 4, 1863 Washington County Al Hobson Community, and d. Nov 2, 1932 at Washington County, Al (Yarbo Al. My father Elijah Jordan b. Mar 5, 1895 Washington County Al Hobson Community and d. Jun 24, 1969 Washington County, Al Chatom, Al. We have our genealogy proven back to Charles Benjamine Jordan b. ABT 1785, Wilkes County, Ga. d. Barbour County, Al. We do not know who his wife was nor any of his brothers etc. because the Wilkes County Ga courthouse is one of those that burned. I have done the DNA test and my data shows I am connected to Richard Jordan I along with four others who my DNA matched exactly on most of them. I am posting the above hoping that some "Jordan" person out there who is studyiing their genealogy will have data wherein it shows Charles Benjamine Jordan as a brother of their ancestor etc thereby I will be able to connect my heritage on back to Richard Jordan I of Va. and England... One thing that I thought was particularly different in my Elijah's the ones shown did not have any middle given name. Thanks Verne
