I've been told either Jane Jordan or Margaret Jordan married a Mr. Collier in Randolph County, AL, probably in the 1850s. The marriage records were all destroyed in the 1895 courthouse fire and, so far, I can't find any census records that support the marriage claim. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
