I'm sorry about the confusion. I do have THOMAS JORDAN as the husband of Mary LETTS and "all those 13 children." My husband is downline of Thomas' son, William, who married Sarah Fields. I do not have any documented proof of Mary Letts. Sadly, I do not even have a source listed as to where I got her name. Oh, dear, not a very efficient geneologist! It would be great to know who Thomas JORDAN's parents were. Do we go back to Arthur????. Let's keep in touch. Maybe this DNA thing will prove something. None of my Jordan "boys" have had it done, but we can't go back further that Thomas. Later, mary
Stopping at Thomas should not preclude your Jordan boys from testing. If a match comes up, then we know where we DO connect and can aim our search in that direction. Maybe it will even point us to Arthur after all! All of my contacts on the Jordan line do not descend from an all male line, so none of us can test. If you know someone on our lines who can test, please convince them! We need someone on a proven line back to Thomas Jordan and Mary (Letts?) who will do this for us. It benefits everyone.
