You need to find Reuben Jordan, who was in Albemarle County, VA -- and married Jeannette Harvie. I should have lots of notes on this couple, and their families, somewhere. Reuben was NOT, however (as he stated, and as may be on the internet) a direct descendant of Pocahontas. He wanted to be, but actually, as I recall, an aunt of his was the descendant. Faye

According to the notes I have at home which are old family notes (that is if memory serves me correctly) the relationship to Pochahontas came down through the Fleming/Bolling side of the Jordan family. Samuel Jordan m Eliz. Fleming and I seem to recall it came through her side. They would have been Rueben Jordan's grandparents.
