Abigail, I would also like to know if any of the mentioned families have participated in the Jordan DNA testing. I am looking for any information about my great-great grandfather, John M. Jordan. He came to Texas from Louisiana but I have no idea if he had been there long or where he came from before that. He was a Captain in the Texas Cavalry from Hopkins County, Texas during the Civil War. He had married Margaret Minerva Elder whose family came from North Carolina by way of what is now Tennessee. Her Grandfather was a Patriot of the American Revolution and I am trying to prove John's family. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Mary
