    3. Hi Margaret, Thank you for writing. I hope I didn't sound critical when I implied no one responded to my original post, because I have NO room to talk! :o\ In fact, a few weeks back, when we had the roll call, I didn't even participate at all because I was too busy! I kept a lot of the messages thinking I would eventually read them, but so far, that hasn't happened. I know there are a LOT of very helpful people out there and I appreciate all those who took the time to respond. My line was always pronounced the same way Michael JORDAN is pronounced. However, my parents came from Tennessee, and I remember when we used to visit family there when I was a child, and my relatives would pronounce it as "JURDAN". Being a young child, I thought it was just the strange way those southerners talked! LOL! Today, my aunt that still lives in Tennessee, says in her strong, southern voice, "It used to be JURDAN til ya'll changed it!" LOL! That is so funny! My dad was the oldest in the family and he always pronounced it as JORDAN as far as I can remember. So, I don't know who my aunt (his sister) was talking about when she said "YA'LL changed it". heehee :o) Sandra >From: Brown Margaret J Contr WRALC/LUTD <Margaret.Brown@robins.af.mil> >Reply-To: JORDAN-L@rootsweb.com >To: JORDAN-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: RE: [JORDAN] Re: Brittain JORDAN >Date: Thu, 10 Mar 2005 12:30:32 -0000 > >Sandra, > >I am new to the list and have learned there a bodacious number of Jordan's >out there.
