Jana, I have a Jackson (Andrew Jackson) JORDAN born about 1814 possibly GA, but his wife was named Martha. The family is last found in the 1870 Panola Co, TX, census and I don't know what happened to he or his wife after that census. They also had a son named Andrew Jackson who could have been born early enough to be the father of your guy, but I think he appears in the 1880 Panola Co, TX, census. There were also other "Andrew Jackson" JORDANs in my lines from Tennessee that I have not been able to find in later census years. I doubt this helps much, but I thought I would mention it anyway.
