    3. The library in Troy, close to where I live has books that list the Quaker records of NC and VA. I found most of mine in the internet. I had a subscription to Ancestry.com that included census, marriage, deaths, birth records, church records and immigration records. It has gone up so high now-- I beliieve now you can get a 1 year's subscription for $189.00 for a year. It is $300 regular price after April 1. I just about have all of my records so I am not going to renew my subscription. If you can afford it, it saves a lot of time having to go to the library and also timewise. 3. Dear Collene, Have you tried HeritageQuest? If your local library belongs and you have a library card you can sometimes get on internet at home. If not at home then at library. I haven't tried it as yet but it is a good free site. They don't have all the census but do have some. Is the $189 for 1 yr. a special price? I could absolutely not afford $300. Ask your library if you can access at home.
