BENJAMIN LLEWELYN JORDAN was born Abt. 1775 in Greensville Co, VA, and died Abt. 1826 in orphan records, Putnam Co, GA. His parents MAY have been Meredith JORDAN (grandson of an Arthur JORDAN 1627-1699?). Meredith m. Margaret ACRES but I don't know that anyone has proven it the connection. We do know they had a son named Williamson and so did Benjamin. He married ELIZABETH L CLARK (or BYRD) in Greensville Co, VA. She was born Abt. 1777 in VA, and died Aft. 1860 in, prob., Putnam Co, GA. Children of BENJAMIN JORDAN and ELIZABETH CLARK are: i. JOHN LLEWELYN "LEE"5 JORDAN, b. 1806, Putnam Co, GA. ii.
