Are you saying that all Jordans in England are descendants of the Jordans who came to fight in the Battle of Hastings? I believe we have a few exceptions. Bob Jordan and Norman Jordan have the results back from their DNA tests. The results do not match my ancestors nor the ancestors of Gary Jordan. Gary's DNA and that of my family do match. We had a common ancestor -- probably a descendant of Samuel Jordan sometime between 1620 and 1750 in Virginia. Apparently these Jordans have a Nordic ancestor from the match with the HG2 Nordic DNA database. I am not sure if the ancestors of Arthur and Richard Jordan share such an ancestor -- or a Norman ancestor for that matter.
