I believe the Huguenots were French Protestants -- not Nordic. The Nordic could have originated from France, but not likely. It is more likely that Irish or Scottish immigrants went to Iceland or Norway, then came to America with the early settlers. Some Jordan descendants in this country have spent large amounts of money trying to find their ancestors in England and France. They may want to move that research to the Nordic countries of Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
