    2. I would invite my 3rd great grandfather Gray Jordan (who married Margaret Chandler in Franklin County GA in 1816). They lived in Mississippi and I believe he is brother to other Jordans in the area (Hardy Jordan, Greenbury Jordan, James Jordan and some possible others). I would find out once and for all who his parents are!!! Kathy in CA

    3. I think you will find they are one and the same. I have baptisms for several children in the same family way back and some are spelled JOTDAN and some JOURDAN. Poetic Licence I reckon.
