I would ask my g-grandfather William J. Jordan born 09 Dec 1863, and ask him to bring his father, William, so I could get all the details on his voyage, where he came from, how life was back in the old country, he was from No. Ireland. Naturalization records say he came from Derry. William Jr. death certificate has his mother as Fanny Laetz (Letts), which is also my grandmothers middle name. I would introduce him to my brother who looks just like him! Carol C-H <cch@netdoor.com> wrote:Those of us in the USA will soon be celebrating Thanksgiving. Listmembers, if you could have one of your ancestors with this surname join you for Thanksgiving dinner, which ancestor would you invite? What questions would you ask him/her? Please send a post to the list telling us about this ancestor - and please remember to include dates and locations.
