    3. These deeds were taken from the book, “Goochland County, VA. Wills & Deeds, 1728-1736. Linda _________________________________________________________________________ p. 197 Deed 17 April 1736 Tarlton Woodson of County and Parish of Henrico, to Col. John Fleming of St. James Parish, Goochland Co., for £50, 1292 acres, part of a patent to said Woodson for 3090 acres called by the name of Licking Hole Survey, dated 11 July 1719, it being all the land in the patent, except for 1798 acres disposed of by John Woodson, dec’d, and since his death coveyed by said Tarlton to several person, that is; John Atkinson, dec’d, 200 acres; Robert Carton, Charles Huddlesey and John Webb, 200 acres; Thomas Carter, 100 acres; Ephraim Garthright, 100 acres, John Cannon, 100 acres; William Cannon, 68 acres; Joseph Pleasant, 400 acres; Robert Blaws, 368 acres; and another of 262 to Blaws. 500 acres of aforesaid was given by last will of Charles Fleming, dec’d, to his grandsons Charles Jordan and George Bates; with all houses, etc. Wit: Isham Randolph, Will’m Mayo, H. Wood Signed: Tarlton Woodson Recorded 20 April 1736 p. 206 Deed John Fleming of St. James Parish, Goochland Co., for love and affection to my two cousins Charles Jordan and George Bates, 500 acres on north side of James River on lower side of a tract of 1292 acres made over to me by deed from Tarlton Woodson of Henrico Co., 16 April 1736, being part of 3090 acres granted said Tarlton Woodson 11 July 1719, it being same 500 acres bequeathed to Charles Jordan and George Bates in will of my father Charles Fleming, dec’d in these words: “I give to my two grandsons Charles Jordan and George Bates 500 acres in Henrico Co., on north side of James River, equally divided, but if either die under age, then to my two grandsons Samuel and Matthew Jordan.” Wit: Isaham Randolph, Wm Mayo, H.
