I have been trying to find info on my grandfather's family. He was born Feb 28 1849 in Lancaster Parish NB. His name is James Byron Jordan. I can not find father or mother's name for him. I found an old tracing that a cousin had done years ago that stated his father's name as Aaron Jordan and mother's name as Christine Lahey. It is driving me crazy that I can't make a find to this info. All I know that they were in Lancaster Parish at this time. I have heard that all censuses of Lancaster are not available in 1851 or 1861. Was there one in 1871? If anyone anywhere has info please contact me. Thank you so much
