    1. MILES, LABEN, etc. JORDAN
    2. I was doing a search recently for Isaac Jordan (grasping at straws and following a few leads on my brickwall) when I found a lovely bit of info at www.inficad.com/~cingram/warrenk/d23.htm If you have some Monroe Co., AL Jordans who moved to TX, you might find this interesting. As far as I can tell -- and matching up some info in my database "collection" (collected, not verified), this might be the line of Capt. Edward Jordan and Susannah (kids, Baxter, John, Miles, Laben, Susanna, Mary, and Frances) -- this son Baxter m. Mary Pettus and had a son, William B. (William Baxter) who married Martha Ganimill and they had a son, Baxter . . . anyway, there is a Will on this site for Isaac Jordan (Isaac Baxter Jordan) b. 1760-70 Monroe Co., AL, d. 1840-44-Monroe (his son went to TX, if I read this correctly). Mentions half brother and sister. I clicked on each of the Jordan entries on the site and found it helpful. Maybe you will, too. Faye
