    3. Collene, Thank you for the Cornelius Jo rdan information. I have been watching the Jordan conversation wishing to see something about my family . The 1860 census stated that he was born in Georgia, but you know how that goes . Maybe whom ever gave the information to the enumerator didn't know where he was born for sure. I think you and I are about the same age . I have been doing family research for about five years . I have just in the past year begun to research my Jordan line . This is great, thanks again. Natha Lee

    3. I am going to forward you a link where you can get it from Samuel on down. You and I come off of the same man, Cornelus, Sr who was a son of Joshua b 1681 and died in the 1700's Joshua had several children, but left Cornelus, Sr. out of his will. They had migrated from Virginia to Edgecombe Co., NC and my Joshua, son of Cornelius Sr. and Mary Daniels was born in Glainville Co. NC and moved to So. Carolina about 1790--remained in SC until about 1834 or 1835, when they moved to Pike County, AL. They had a dau that was age 16 in the 1850 Pike County Cenus records. You are welcome for this information, there is over 400 pages of it, so you may only want to print out the pages that you want.
