My Jesse Jordan was b. 1785 in VA, d. 1863 DeKalb Co., Ga. He apparently travelled through S. C., because a son was born 1813 in S. C. I believe he was in Edgefield Co., S. C., but can't find further information, particularly, who is father was, or where in VA he was born. Any help will be appreciated. (Jordan genealogy at www.georgiapioneers.com) Jeannette
