Please read the following and follow the instructions given for removing this newest virus. I found it on my C: drive and deleted it. With this virus it doesn't seem to matter whether or not I send an e-mail for it to be transmitted. It sends automatically after it has infected the address book. It is really sad that people have nothing better to do with their computer expertise than to deliberately and visciously corrupt the internet. I just went into my system, found the virus, and deleted it from the C: drive AND from the recycle bin. Please do the same. No, it is a hoax! Just go to the Microsoft site and find out to reinstall the file. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Karen Jordan" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, June 23, 2002 11:53 AM Subject: [JORDAN] Teddy Bear Virus > > Please read the following and follow the instructions given for removing this newest virus. PLEASE do not post or discuss virus warnings on genealogy lists, including this one. If you want to know about viruses, please check with one of the sites that exists for that purpose - if you do not know where they are, you can find them linked of the COMPUTER /INTERNET section of my website.
