Hello Tina, I think I was the one who questioned your proposed connection of Elias Jordan to Thomas Jordan of Granville Co. NC. That still stands. You mention Roanoke Rapids, Granville Co. NC - which actually would be in Northampton Co. NC (northwestern corner). Close, but Roanoke Rapids was never in Granville Co. If this were true, you would be connected to the Arthur Jordan line, but this is "false" genealogy - set up wrongly many years ago. Same goes for the Over Jordan connection to a man in IL. Same goes for any connection to Jordan in Gatwick, Surry, England. All of this can be found in the Jordan List archives. The DNA results should be interesting. If true, then the Over Jordan and Elias Jordan DNA should match with the Arthur line. Rachel Cass) to his supposed father, Thomas Jordan and Mary unknown from Jordan's Creek, Roanoke Rapids, Granville co., NC. I'm still looking for proof of Elias' connection to Thomas and Mary Jordan.
