There are a lot of us "Jerdans" participating in the Jordan Surname DNA Project and getting incredible results. With only 12 sets of results back so far, we have connected six participants into two groups of related families. My own family is participating, and we have found a match with two other families with long documented Jordan genealogy histories. We are now working together to find our common ancestors. We have a total of 23 Jordan males participating so far, so we have 11 more sets of results scheduled to come back soon. We expect several of those results to match results we have already received. A number of these families followed the same migration pattern that your Jordan ancestors traveled south from VA. Get one of your Jordan male relatives into the test project and take advantage of the opportunity to make a quantum leap in your genealogy research. The results to date are shown under the results button on the following page: http://jordannctoal.homestead.com/JordanDNAProjectResults.html The overall project information is available on the following webpage: http://jordannctoal.homestead.com/DNAindex.html To check the database of many of the southern Jordans in the project go to the following webpage and click on the GEDCOM Tree link: http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/j/o/r/Larry-E-Jordan/ Larry Jordan Group Administrator Jordan Surname DNA Project
