There is an Enoch Jordan of, I believe, Hawkins Co. Tn b. ca 1811 who is different than my Enoch who may have been born ca 1768. He was a bondsman for his brother-in-law Joshua Stepp who married Nicey Dollarhide in 1789 Caswell Co. NC. He would have to be "of age" to be a bondsman. La Nita Jordan Wacker
