To the JORDAN-L and in answer to Mr. Robert Jordan: Dear Robert, Please note that I was not questioning Ms. Perry's book, nor was I criticizing it. I was simply asking if the quoted sentence was a correct exerpt from the book. The quoted sentence made no sense to me. This is that sentence: "This William Jordan. [note the period] because of probably the son of Matthew, who was a son of Samuel Jordan and the ninth son of Thomas Jordan of Chuckatuck, and the brother of Colonel Samuel Jordan." As I said before, this sentence makes no sense to me. Carole Hays Quitman, Louisiana
