Folks: I know how eager each of is to locate that big breakthrough in our Jordan line. However, we could better sift through the quantity of postings that don't "relate" to "me". For example, none of the postings for SC, GA, AL, etc don't belong to me....., yet I don't know that until I spend time opening the messages. My William Jordan was in Carter County, KY, prior to 1850, probably from VA. Knowing that, I would list my address line query as William Jordan VA > KY (by 1850).
