Her brother (my g-grandfather) > James Whitsitt Jordan moved his widowed mother to MS with him when he went there to work on the RR as a depot agent. Anna & James had a younger sister, Mattie E. (Martha?) who was born in 1863 in TN. Anna & Mattie were both unmarried on the 1880 Census for Burnsville. Mattie married a John Powell during the time she lived in Memphis TN. He was a widower with children, but they had none of their own that I have found. I can find no records of Anna after the 1880 census in MS. So I don't know if she died where or when, or ever married!
