My gggrandfather was a Joseph Jordan, born around the early 1800's in NH. Could he possibly be the son of this Stephen Jordan? All I know of this Joseph is that he married a Nancy Long, was in California in the 1850's and they had at least one child, a son, Samuel Frame Jordan, who was born in 1857. They did live in Illinois and traveled by wagon train to Ca several times. ourfarm@pitnet.net ----- Original Message ----- From: <RThoden@aol.com> To: <JORDAN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, December 05, 2004 3:03 PM Subject: [JORDAN] Stephen Jordan > In a message dated 12/5/2004 3:00:57 PM Eastern Standard Time, > JORDAN-D-request@rootsweb.com writes: > The Stephen Jordon who Married Mary Jefferds December of 1774 in Connecticut > might be a prospect. First - It would make the digests smaller if you started a new message each time instead of hitting reply. If there are specific facts in the e-mail you're answering that need to be included, you can copy and paste just that section. Second - Larry - The links in your e-mail regarding the Jordan DNA reach pages that say "this site has been moved." Can you get everyone the correct links? Thanks, Dot
