Nancy Giles Pastor Seals Shilling-Jones Vows At Ritual At His Home An informal double ring ceremony attended by only the immediate families, was chosen by Miss Carol Jones for her wedding on December 22 to Douglas Shilling. The vows were solemnized by the Rev. Orval J. Nease Jr. at his home, 208 East Sixth street. The bride, who is the daughter of Mr and Mrs. Chalmer J. Jones, 213 South First Avenue, Apartment D, Upland is making her home with her parents while she is continuing her education at Chaffey high school where she is a senior student. The bridegroom, who is the son of Mr and Mrs. Wayne Shilling of 288 F street, Upland, is a sonarman with the U. S. Navy stationed at San Diego. For the service the bride wore a pink faille coat dress with brown accessories. She completed her wedding costume with a corsage of pink and white rosebuds and sweetpeas. As maid of honor, Miss Dorothy Hawes wore a dress of changeable taffeta, black accessories and a pink and white carnation corsage. George Patterson of Pomona was best man.
