I am reposting my Jones line in hopes someone might connect. Lewis M. (Lige) Jones, born 5/1842 in Tennessee.. married Sophia Elizabeth Cummins, 1870, in Fannin County, TX Children: Elijah Thomas Jones, b 9/19/1871, Fannin Co., TX Samuel Marion Jones, b 11/3/1875 in Grayson Co., TX Maggie Jones, b 5/1883 in Grayson Co., TX Robert Silas David Jones (my grandfather), b 1/9/1886 in Grayson Co., TX Lige and Elizabeth are buried in Montague Cemetery, Montague Co., TX. Until recently, gravestones lost to time. They are said to have died in later part of 1918, along with daughter Maggie, in the flu epidemic. I have been unable to find death records. Thank goodness, there are is a good record of burials in this cemetery! I am looking for any information that would help me to find ancestry and parentage of Lewis M. Jones (Lige).
